Bert and Tommy got to know each other at jazz jams on the SF peninsula and teaching for the Stanford Jazz Workshop's East Palo Alto Outreach. This concert started with the life story of trumpeter Chet Baker and finished with three tunes to accompany us into the afterlife. Charlie Channel on bass, Chris Cortez on drums, and Jansen Verplank on keys. Tommy on tenor and Bert on trumpet, flugel, guitar and vocals.
